Getting Started with
VirBELA

You can set up your avatar in the open campus that will port over to the private campus but you can pre-set up your avatar and explore the virtual campus before the event by following these steps.

1. Go to: www.virbela.com. Click “Get Started for Free”.
Please note:
2. Complete registration info and click “Join!”.
3. Click either “Download for Mac” or “Download for PC” depending on your device.
4. Once you click on the download, you might get this message, click “Keep”.
5. “Allow” VirBELA to make changes to your device.
6. Select a destination location then click “Next”.
7. Select additional tasks then click “Next”.
8. Click "Install".
9. Click “Finish”.
*This step might take a little long to download.

10. Select your graphics preference, then click “Play!”.

Select “Windowed” if you don’t want VirBELA to take up your whole screen. If you want, select your preferred resolution. Try the “Best” graphics quality, but if notice stuttering or other performance issues, try one of the lower settings. |
11. If you already registered on the website, you could just log in here. If not, you can also register here.

12. You are immediately taken to the closet where you can customize your avatar! Use the panel on your left to customize your avatar. Once complete, click on save and exit.
13. Afterwards, you’re taken to the virtual campus. You’ll be prompted with a few tips on your first visit then you are free to explore or go straight to the event.
